Yoshiaki Imamura has been fascinated by unidentified creatures and celestial bodies since childhood, reflecting his curiosity about nature, mythology, and paranormal phenomena in his work. Captivated by the transformations of minerals and glazes inside the kiln, he perceives the kiln as a 'paranormal phenomenon generator.' Drawing inspiration from curiosity and various phenomena suppressed by modern society, he creates distinctive sculptural objects.Additionally, he considers vessels as communication tools and aims to expand beyond craftsmanship to generate new values, such as storytelling and experiences, through his work. In this exhibition, visitors can experience the world of 'modern mythology' that Imamura envisions, expressed through both vessels and objects. We invite you to explore his unique artistic vision.
